Hyperdub releasing EP from King Britt
Hyperdub will be releasing a set of tracks that owe more to John Carpenter and sci-fi film score composition than anything dance related.
King Britt, an artists who has been a constant if shadowy presence since the early 90s, will be presenting the analogue-heavy EP on the 26th of March.
The Fhloston Paradigm alias has been used as a tribute to films such as Rollerball, Blade Runner and Fifth Element. If you're familiar with those classics then you can vaguely imagine the contents, although the atmosphere the EP reminds us a little of Morgan Zarate's 'SP', a track also released on Hyperdub in January 2011.
As it's Hyperdub, you can expect this one to be generating a lot of buzz come March. We'll keep you updated.
